Born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, Paulo worked most of his professional life in investment banking as the CIO of Chase Portugal, and later was part of the team that created the first portuguese digital bank, BiG, becoming one of its Executive Board members.
The decision to pursue his dream of creating an AI and Machine Learning company, led to the creation of Starkdata a startup focused on Enterprise AI , specifically customer predictive analytics.
His main focus now, is growing the company and expanding Starkdata to the US, as a result of taking part of Select USA 2023 in Maryland.
Paulo holds an MSc in Computer Engineering, and has management training from HBS, Insead, LSE and IMD.
